This is a 58 year old female who was diagnosed with right breast cancer. She saw Salem Oregon plastic surgeon Dr. Neaman who explained all the various options for immediate breast reconstruction. The patient decided to undergo a tissue expander based approach, which was placed the same day as her mastectomy. She underwent serial tissue expansions and eventually had her tissue expander exchange for permanent implant. For symmetry, she had a contralateral breast augmentation. Here she is pictured approximately 3 months following her most recent surgery.
